CashCrate is a great way to make money right now if you are in a pinch and need some quick cash. However, if you are serious about making money and want to make money month after month even while you sleep, then check out my post on how to make money online as a teen.

The TRUTH about Cash Crate

If you read my recent income report, you saw that I had my best earning month online ever (at least, up until that month).  A big part of that was thanks to CashCrate, where I earned a pretty nice chunk of change – $512.78. I didn’t want to write too much about CashCrate until I could officially determine whether or not it is a legitimate source of earning money online, but today, I’m finally able to go into some detail.
Keep reading, I’ll explain it all.

My CashCrate Review

This all started when I was putting together my list of 142+ ways to make money online and was seeking out different places and ways on the internet where people could earn money without having any prior experience.
As with most things in life, if you want the big reward, you need to put in the big effort. There really is no such thing as getting rich quickly, aside from a handful of lucky lottery winners.
Anyway, I stumbled across CashCrate (affiliate link, although it’s 100% free to sign up and use) and noticed that it was fairly popular. You automatically get a free dollar just for signing up, but what do you do from there?

How You Make Money with CashCrate

It’s pretty simple – CashCrate makes money when you complete offers, surveys, or other tasks, and then they turn around and pay you a portion of it.
I would say that most of the tasks you can complete are free, but there are some that involve getting cash back after a purchase or after using your credit card to sign up for a free trial somewhere.  I believe it’s all legitimate, but you still have to be careful.
Here’s one example of an offer I completed:  I signed up to a free trial of Blockbuster (similar to Netflix where they send you DVDs in the mail) and received $11 for it.  I canceled the subscription after the free 30-day trial period.
There are other tasks that are much smaller and pay less – for example, I signed up for a free sample of liquid fabric softener and received 50 cents.  It all adds up.  I would just caution you to use an e-mail address for the offer that isn’t your primary e-mail address. Essentially, you are giving away your contact information for money with these offers, so you can expect to receive advertisements.
I like CashCrate, because you can make money by doing these various tasks while watching TV, for example.  It doesn’t really require any focus or thought, so it’s a nice way to earn a little bit of extra spending money.
[As a side note, I wish I thought of starting up a site like CashCrate (and I’m sure there are a lot of similar sites) – I imagine the site owner(s) make tons of money with it.]

The Real Money is in the Referrals

You can do offers and surveys until you’re blue in the face, but there’s obviously a limit to how many you can do within a short period of time.  Reading through the forums on CashCrate, there are people who do make at least $100-200 per month just by performing the various tasks available.
The real money is with referrals, however.  I realized this after I put up a link on my ways to make money online post and a lot of people signed up using my referral link.  The referral program is pretty robust.  Although I’ve made at least $20-25 completing various tasks, most of the money I earned was through referrals.
When you start out (and have no referrals), you earn 20% of what people you refer make (1st tier), and you earn 10% of anything their referrals make (2nd tier).  As you work your way up, those percentages gradually rise to 30% (1st tier) and 20% (2nd tier).
Obviously, the people you refer need to use CashCrate for what it’s intended for.  If you just refer a bunch of people you know and they create accounts but don’t use it, you’re not really going to make anything.

But is CashCrate Legit?

I wasn’t ready to call it “legit” until I received payment in a timely manner.  After your account balance reaches $20, CashCrate will send you your check the following month.  After at least one check payment has been deposited, you will have the option to switch to being paid via PayPal.
Sure enough, within a week after November ended, I received this:
I was thrilled to earn this after only my first month, but my expectations need to be lowered for the following months.  A lot of this was earned while the post that contained the referral link was ranking on page 1 for “make money online.”  Now, it’s ranking somewhat between pages 2 and 3 (although it still ranks well for other similar terms), so the traffic isn’t nearly what it was last month.
Again, this site isn’t going to make you rich, but this can be another tool to add to your collection of online income sources.  You can sign up to CashCrate here.
If you have a blog that has anything to do with making money, saving money, or personal finance, it might be worth introducing this site to your readers as a way to pick up some referrals.
What do you think?  Have you used CashCrate before, and if so, do you like it?

Can you Really Make Money with CashCrate?

Can you really make money with CashCrate? In this article I’m going to be talking about a company called CashCrate. What is CashCrate anyways? CashCrate is a company that pays its users for taking surveys. It has been around since 2006 and has had over 2 million members join worldwide. We all probably heard of companies paying people to take surveys and signing up for offers. When we hear about these companies the first thing we think of is the word “scam”. Is CashCrate a scam? No, CashCrate is a legitimate company and they do pay you for taking surveys. If you join CashCrate you should not expect to make a full time income as it’s not designed for that. This program is really for people who only want to make a few dollars online. Maybe you have some free time and want to take a few surveys. Honestly though, I wouldn’t expect to make more than $100 per month if you are not a part of their referral program.

Issues with CashCrate

In the program there are many issues that people need to realize. It’s up to you if you want to call these things issues, but in my opinion they are. What happens when you take surveys? They ask for your information. Even to make $20, you are going to be entering your information into multiple surveys. For example, here are some of the surveys and offers you may have to enter:

· Apply for a new credit card
· Take a personal survey
· Apply for cash rewards
· Sign up for a free trial

These are just a few examples of what you should expect with CashCrate. You have to be comfortable entering your personal information. Some surveys even ask for your social security number. Also, remember that some of these offers you have to pay for. Not all these offers are free.

How Often Does CashCrate Pay?

CashCrate processes payments by the 20th of the following month as long as your accumulated income reaches above $20. For example, if you make $50 at the end of January, you would get paid in mid-February.

Requirements To Join?

Just a quick note that it’s free to join CashCrate and there is no monthly fee. You must be 13 years old to join and they prefer English speaking people as most of the offers are in English.

Tip For Succeeding With CashCrate:

You should always try and take the best surveys. Some surveys will pay you only a few dollars even after you’ve been answering questions for over an hour. Again, you won’t know the best surveys to take until you get some experience, but I highly recommend you take the surveys that pay best for the time you give. If you’re sitting for over 3 hours and are only getting like $5 for your efforts, you probably have better things to do with your time. I had a few people question me about CashCrate and getting started. They told me they were going to work 16 hours a day taking surveys. I was like “what are they crazy?” If you plan on doing that, you may be better off getting a part time job.

What is CashCrate?

My website  is dedicated to helping you learn whatever it is you need to know about CashCrate. My CashCrate review will provide you with all of the information you’re going to need. By the time you’re done reading my review, you’ll know whether or not they’re right for you.
CashCrate’s a GPT(get-paid-to) company. They started in 2006. There are currently more than five million members & they’ve paid out over 3.9 million dollars already. You can make real money online with them completely free! The amount  of money you make will depend on you. Perseverance is key. The more active you are, the better. They’re an extremely friendly and helpful community. Always welcoming and willing to help someone out in the forums.

Will CashCrate scam you?

Are the CashCrate scam rumors true? Are they going to rip me off? Will they actually pay me for the work I complete? Are they legit?
I’ve read a lot of bad reviews online. Most of them saying that they’re  a scam. Those people are just ungrateful, and lazy. If you don’t work, you won’t get paid. It’s simple.  It’s not a scam! They have millions and millions of members. If it was a scam, they would have been shut down a long time ago.
People say that it’s a scam because they’re not satisfied with the amount of money they’re making. If you don’t spend some time online, you’re not going to make that much money. If you want free money, this website isn’t going to work for you. You can easily spend a couple hours a day on there and make about five to ten dollars. If you make five dollars every day for a month straight, that’s 150$/month. The most I’ve ever made without any referral income in one day was 22 dollars and some change. So, there’s definitely money to be made.
Get paid to work from home.
The good news for you is that the CashCrate scam rumor is false!  There is no CashCrate scam, period! I know some people are going to continue to be skeptical, and that’s why I have proof for you. They have a page containing thousands of pictures from their members holding their checks they’ve received, & screenshots of their Paypal statements. Along with some Dwolla statements. Those are the three options you can choose from to cash out. If you go to my CashCrate scam article and scroll down, you’ll see their payment wall. It should clear up any doubt it your mind. Also, here’s a quick Google image search I did for CashCrate proof.

How does CashCrate work?

CashCrate gets paid every time you complete a survey, or offer, on their website. In return, we get a percentage of what they make. A pretty decent one too. The first three ways you can get paid, pay the most. You get paid to take surveys, complete offers, and by referring people to their website. You also get paid to watch videos, search the web, shop online, & play games. They have new ‘daily surveys’ every day!
It’s not like some of these other websites where you’re only able to complete a few surveys a week. Once you’ve completed something on their website, & it’s verified, they will credit your account. After you have accumulated 20 dollars, you’ll be able to receive your first check. They send checks world wide. So, it doesn’t matter where in the world you’re located.

Is CashCrate Legit?

I see this question floating around quite a bit. Luckily, this CashCrate review has the answer!
People are normally a bit skeptical about being able to make money online. Which I can understand. However, with this company, there’s no need to worry. How do you know if it’s legit? If you skipped my section above, scroll up and look for the the highlighted CashCrate scam link. Through that article you’ll find a link that takes you to CashCrates ‘payment wall’. Their payment wall has thousands of checks and online statements posted from their members. They’re definitely legit!
I’m a member, and have been making money with them for a long time now. I’m always paid on time every month. They won’t ask you for any personal information. No banking information, debit/credit card number, or social security number is required to sign up. Just a  email address and the age of at least 13.
Read my CashCrate review, join, and start earning money immediately!

How much money can you make?

That answer will depend on how hard you work. There are some people making a lot of money. My best suggestion is to get familiar with them, do a little research, and then get started with their referral program. That’s where you can end up making a couple thousand dollars a month in time. There’s no fast money with them. It’s all about setting goals, and working your way up.
Even though I mainly use their referral program to make most of my money, I still use their website for the basic surveys and offers every day. I do all of their ‘daily surveys’ and ‘top surveys’ every morning. I normally make around four to five dollars with that alone. Then I’ll complete a few offers and normally end up with a total of seven to eight dollars for the day. It all adds up at the end of the month.
If you have a couple extra hours to spend online every day, definitely invest some of your time with them. You could be making money instead of browsing pointless information on the web. Spend your time wisely.

Do I need a debit or credit card?

No. You don’t need to have any type of card to make money with CashCrate. A lot of people wonder if they need one because of their ‘offers’ section. There you can find all types of different offers. They have free offers, free trial offers, and paid offers. The free trial offers are a steal! If you ever decide to do one, and don’t have intentions of actually sticking it out, don’t forget to cancel your membership before the deadlines up. If you don’t, they will bill you concurrently every month until you do.

I normally stick with the 100% free offers. The only time I use my banking card is if I come across something I would normally want anyways. In return, I get a really good amount of money back. It works out.
It’s all up to you whether or not you’re wanting to use it. It’s definitely not required to make money with them though. This isn’t my only CashCrate review. I have a review on just about every aspect of their website. Feel free to browse around and I’m sure you’ll find what it is you’re looking for. If you want a review on something specific, check out my similar CashCrate reviews category. I’m dedicated to helping everyone who visits my site get the information they need to know before they leave!

Why you should join CashCrate

This review on CashCrate has discussed just about everything you need to know.
If you’re interested in making some extra cash each month, definitely become a member. They offer you the opportunity to work from home, at your own convenience. Complete a couple surveys and a few offers every day. You’ll be surprised with the results at the end of the month. It’s not hard either. I hope my CashCrate review has been informative, and what you were looking for.

You will be saying, "Finally, no more scams, loop holes, and bull crap!"

What Is Cashcrate?
CashCrate is referred to as a get paid to site. Advertising Companies use sites like cashcrate to allow people to try their products and services and they want to pay you for sharing your opinions simply by answering questions through surveys and offers. When you join CashCrate, they simply pass that money on to you. Basically you earn money on Cashcrate by taking part in daily research surveys, cash offers, bonus surveys, bonus offers, cash tasks, doing your shopping online, and referring other people to join. If this interests you click the banner below or keep reading for more information.

Cashcrate has been around since 2006 and they have over 4 million members world wide. It is free to join, there are no fees, and they send out thousands of dollars in payments to their members each and every month and continue to grow by the numbers everyday. Get Paid To Do Free Offers!

How much money can I earn with Cashcrate?
It really depends all on you. The more surveys and offers you do, the faster your money will add up. Most of the daily surveys pay you anywhere from .50cents to .80cents and the amount of cash offers you complete can range anywhere from .05 cents to sometimes $30.00 or more! A lot of members and even myself refer others to earn cash. For every new person you refer to cashcrate, you earn 20% of what they make, and 10% of what their referrals make. Plus you get a nice $3.00 bonus when each of your referrals earn their first $10.00.

When and How Do I Get Paid?
You will get paid when you reach the minimum payout of $20.00. Payments are processed on the 15th of the following month and you receive your payment by check in the mail around the 21st. For example, if you earn $300.00 in March, you will get your check around April 21st. Reason why is because Cashcrate uses the 15 days to make sure no false information or fake identity was used when their members completed Surveys and Cash Offers. It is extremely important to use real personal info when you register on Cashcrate so they know where to send your money.

What Are Points?
Last but not least, you can earn points through Cashcrate. You can spend points on daily/weekly tournament games and if you win, you simply earn more points than what you already had. Points can be earned by completing point offers and bonus point Offers. They are very similar to the cash offers and survey, the only difference is that they pay you in points. You can also spend your points on Prizes through the Prize Shop on things like gift cards, digital cameras, video game consoles, iPod Touch, ect.

My favorite part about earning points is the New Crates, The Game! This is a game of chance where you spend 5 points on a single click choosing any crate you want for a chance to win a cash prize that instantly goes into your account. The cash prizes range from $.03 -$1,000.00. I myself have won many of the .03 cent cash prizes and have won two $5.00 cash prizes so far. Some members have won $20.00 - $50.00 instantly already but I don't think anyone has yet won a $1,000 cash prize.

So what is the best tip to get started you might ask?

If you haven't done so already, click the banner below and on the site sign up with your real info.
You get a $1.00 bonus for doing so. Yes, that is how much I have personally made so far. Pretty sweet huh?

After you have filled out their registration form and click submit, It is very important that you check your email that you used to sign up with. They send every one who signs up a membership confirmation email. Click on the confirmation link to confirm your membership. Log back into Cashcrate with your email address, and password and fill out your profile survey so cashcrate can match you up with the best surveys and offers available to you. You will earn .25 cents just for filling out your profile survey!

How To Complete Surveys and Offers.
Click on the "Earn Cash" tab located at the top.Lets Start you off with clicking the "offers link" select show 100% You will notice that they have tutorial videos to help you out along the way.

When you select to do an offer make sure you use correct information, like your email address, name, age, date of birth. Because if you give false information to these advertisers you will probably not get paid. These advertisers let Cashcrate know whats going on all the time.

Some offers send you a confirmation link to your email. Make sure to click these confirmation links. this tells the advertiser that you are for real about completing the offer and you will get paid. Last thing to do when you complete an offer is to close out that page and go back to the offers page and click the submit button for that offer you just did.

How The Referral Programs Works.
The referral program has two levels. You get paid 20% of what your referrals make and 10% of what THEIR referrals make. As you refer more users to CashCrate, these levels increase until you're earning as much as 30% of your referral's earnings and 20% of their referral's earnings. Plus, get extra cash bonuses along the way!

Many members get checks every month for more than $100, some even get checks for over $1,000. How do they do it? Referrals! Probably the best way to earn free money at home online with Cashcrate is by taking advantage of the referral program. When you're just starting out, you'll earn 20% of all the cash from offers your first level referrals make and 10% of all the money their referrals make, you will profit when other people complete offers.

Live Contests At Cashcrate!
Participating in the contests is another great way to earn extra cash and prizes. On a regular basis contests are held daily, monthly and thousands of dollars are awarded to Cashcrate members.

Get Paid To Do Free Offers!

How to enter a contest is simple. All you have to do to enter is start by completing offers, surveys, ect. and you are automatically entered. Competing in these contest can be a challenge if you do not complete enough offers and surveys. I suggest completing as many as you can because winners are determined by the most offer earnings.

You can also earn cash prizes during a live contest by answering trivia questions through out the contest and hour prior to the start of the contest. You should know that the trivia questions appear randomly during this time. If you don't have any offers/surveys don't worry you can still win by answering trivia questions. Most of the prizes include instant Cashcrate cash, Amazon gift cards, various entertainment electronics, ect.

Feel free to look around on the Cashcrate Tips site for more of the best tips and referral help you will ever find online. Cashcrate tips offers some great articles written by some members of Cashcrate and any member; if they choose to do so, may write an article by clicking on the blog link up at the top.

How to Make Money Online Using CashCrate

Making money online is easy. You just need the right site. To many, that site is One reason: you only have to be 13 to use it (with parents' permission, of course). If you are 18 or older, however, you can jump right in!

Create an email address for CashCrate only. We want to dedicate as much to this site as we can. If you have an old computer, even, use that. It will create a whole dedication to the site and help you devote as much time as you want and increase payout from the site, like a real business.

Get Paid To Do Free Offers!

Sign up. Go to Sign up using legitimate information and include your individual CashCrate email address.

Make another email address. It is annoying but you will need a new one for the offers and for each offer from the same company. Yes, you must make many-an-account on your service of choice. AOL seems to allow the most made at a time. Once you've created one, (or a few. Feel free to make many and keep track of them. Recycling them works too, so try it if you'd like, but there would be a lot of keeping track to do), it is time to complete an offer.

Go to the Members section of the site and find any offer that says "Complete the quiz." These are usually, (like 99.9% of the time), by a company called QuizJungle. These have decent payout, are easy, and, best of all, take up like 25% of all of the offers! They're great! But, like I said before, you must make a new email for each one or it will not pay you! Click the offer and complete the "quiz." Make sure that you choose the compliant gender for question #6 for whatever reason.

Start filling out forms. You should come to a page where you must fill out a form. Enter your brand, spankin' new email address and all other (legitimate) information. You may get a phone call but check out the tips for a way around this. (RoboForm/LastPass come in handy here.)

Know when to say 'Continue'. After entering your information, you should come to a completely new address. From here on out, skip everything! These "offers" just want to trick you. And never enter your cell phone number, credit card information or social security number! This is how they bill you, but the last one is just in general on the internet! Further explanation in the Warnings section.

Know when to say 'Yes'. Next you should come to a page where you must select yes or no to offers. Just select yes to one of them. Then, when you come to the proceeding page, click 'Next >>'. At the end, (when you reach your result), wait for it to load fully. Then exit out of the window. (It should have opened in a new window automatically.) Once you are back at the CashCrate site, click submit at the right side of the offer you just completed.
